Many brides want to arrange their own wedding flowers and see it as a lovely thing they can do with their mothers, bridesmaids and friends. Last year we had a lot of brides (and grooms) come to Nettlewood Flowers to buy buckets of flowers for their weddings. The questions often asked were, how many flowers do I need? How do I make sure they look lovely on the day? How do I make my bouquet?
This year we will be offering a workshop to help you plan and arrange the flowers for your special day. We’ll take you through the planning, what flowers will be available and where to source them, stem count, conditioning as well as showing you some simple arrangements that will look stunning but will be easy for you to achieve. Well also teach you how to make the Brides bouquet and buttonholes.
The workshop will be run by Sarah from Nettlewood Flowers and Laura a wedding florist from Petal HQ. The workshop is suitable for brides and grooms to be, budding florists or those that simply love flowers.
The workshop will take place between 10-3pm at Nettlewood Flowers, 46 Cromwell Road, Teddington TW11 9EN
Price £125 per person- includes all beautiful seasonal flowers, sumptuous ribbons, a delicious lunch, teas, coffees and of course, cake. You will take home the bouquets and buttonholes you make on the day.
